In the third quarter of 2024, the top tools apps in South Africa demonstrated varied performance in terms of revenue, downloads, and active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a snapshot of how these apps fared over the quarter.

NordVPN – fast VPN for privacy from Nord Security saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, starting at approximately $9.1K at the beginning of July and ending the quarter at around $7.4K. Downloads decreased from about 7K to 2.1K, while active users fell from 35.9K to 26.4K by the end of September.
